Don't Trip Over Your Brain!: I've tried "these" before...

I've done that before. Picked up my material, took it with me singing a song. I'd rather than hang mill stones around my neck. Not a burden when someone has desire and belief, but when this person told me she had a "real job", minimum wage, too important to spend time on a "little business". I looked at her income and compared it to her friend who started the month before, it didn't add up but in her mind it did.

It's all about posture and not showing desperation in building your business. Looking for quality people who are willing to show commitment and dedication. You don't need people you'll be nursing all the way and constantly battling objections with.

Good for you! I had a number of clients who were like that when I had my private career counseling practice. They were full of "yes...buts," and I knew they would never move forward.
People like that can truly drain your energy. I used to try to help them but finally learned to move on where my focus and advice could really make a difference.

Usually people know once they've seen everything if they want to pursue it or not. I'm just sorry she took up so much of your time knowing she truly wasn't into it.

Good for you. You were wise enough to see that this was not going to be a good connection and you walked away from a major headache down the line!

Not everyone has the where-with-all to succeed in their own business. I've always believed being my own boss made my life a lot less aggravating, but the work ethic required is gynourmous, lol!
